Cherokee County blessed to have facility like Peachtree Centre
Dear Editor:
Several weeks ago our family suffered the loss of our father/husband/ grandpop/ best friend, Bubba Estes.
He had spent the past five years at Peachtree Centre.
Each employee at Peachtree knew my dad’s likes as well as dislikes. They treated him as if he was their own papa. They took special care of him.
Some nursing home residents when out of their home environment begin to experience pressure sores, wounds, infections, anxiety and withdrawal. The employees met all of dad’s daily living needs. He was free five years of wounds, skin tears and injuries.
Cherokee County is so blessed to have a facility with not only a good building and grounds but people working there who truly care.
Thank you, residents of Cherokee County, for providing a place of comfort for people who have worked along beside you, to meet their end-of-life needs.
Thank you county council, administration and employees of Peachtree Centre for making a very difficult five years a period of building friendships that will last a lifetime.
We love each of you.
The family of Harold “Bubba” Estes
Gaffney, S.C.
