XI Alpha Delta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi held an executive session on Monday, Aug. 8, at 7 p.m. at the home of Ann Loftis, president. Seven members were present.

The theme for the 2010- 2011 year, “New Path to Friendship,” was discussed as to how the sorority can progress and find new friends on this new path. All plans and rituals for the coming year were discussed in length. The meeting ended with the closing ritual, mizpah, the Beta Sigma Phi blessing and refreshments.

The sorority had its beginning meeting Monday, Aug. 30, at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Ann Loftis, hostess. President Loftis called the meeting to order and led the group in the opening ritual and Beta Sigma Phi grace. Twelve members were present. Before the business session, a covered dish supper was served.

As the meeting began, there was much discussion on the 2010-2011 year, including place, date, hostess and program for each monthly meeting. Socials for each month were also scheduled. Committee members and their chairperson were named and all information was brought up to date.

The first meeting of the year will be on Monday, Sept. 13, from 5:30-6 p.m. at the home of Shirley Addis with Hazel Abernathy as the cohostess. The meeting ended with the closing ritual.
