A 35-year-old city woman was cited for public drunkenness and indecent exposure after Gaffney police found her naked outside an East Birnie Street bar.

According to a police report, an officer was dispatched to the 100 block of East Birnie Street at about 1:30 a.m. Sept. 4 in reference to a naked female in the parking lot by Club X-Clusive.

The officer observed the 35-year-old 7th Street resident upon his arrival and noted she had a strong odor of alcohol about her breath and person. The officer instructed the woman to put her clothes back on, which were lying on the ground, and took her into custody when she finished dressing.
