The Cherokee County Service Center of the American Red Cross is offering the following community classes in September:

Sept. 9, new volunteer orientation, 10 a.m., free; Sept. 10, CPR adult, child and infant, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m., fee; Sept. 13-14, standard first aid and CPR, adult, 6-9:30 p.m. each evening (must attend both nights), fee; Sept. 17, CPR adult child and infant review, 9 a.m.- 1 p.m., fee; Sept. 25, babysitters' training (ages 11-15), 9 a.m.-4 p.m., fee.

All classes will be at the ARC Service Center, 405 N. Logan St. Pre-payment and pre-registration is required. To register, call 864-489-6066 or go by the office Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
