Wanda Hopper

Wanda Renee Smedelay Hopper, 40, of 533 Oakland Ave., wife of Everett Nathaniel Hopper Sr., passed away Monday afternoon, Nov. 15, 2010, in Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.

Daughter of Clara Smedelay of Gaffney and the late Albert Randolph, she was born June 25, 1970, in Norwalk, Conn. She was reared by her aunt, Mary Violet Dawkins of Gaffney. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church, a 1988 graduate of Gaffney High School, and a graduate of Kings College of Charlotte.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two grandmothers, Genevieve Smedelay and Violet Byers.

Surviving in addition to her husband, mother and aunt are two children, Quaterra Hopper and Everett Hopper Jr., both of the home, and a host of other relatives.

The family is at the residence.
