William Smith

William O'Brian Smith, 22, of 608 W. Buford St., passed away Wednesday night, Jan. 19, 2911, at his residence.

Born May 12, 1988, in Gaffney, he was the son of Charlene Ann Watts- Smith and William Vincent Smith, both of Gaffney. At the time of his death, he was attending Adult Ed in Cherokee County and was employed by Phillip Staff Master in Spartanburg.

Also surviving are a sister, Vincetta Smith of Gaffney; a brother, Antwain Robinson of Gaffney; stepfather, Sheldon Haney of Gaffney; stepmother, Nellie Smith of Gaffney; three step-sisters, Kay'Cee Hopper, Angel Jefferies and Shakiya Foster, all of Gaffney; a step-brother, William M. Hopper of Gaffney; grandparents, Ruthie Rodgers, Barbara Ann Watts, Blakley Rodgers Jr. and Zoar Watts, all of Gaffney; and a host of other relatives.

The family is at the home of his mother, Charlene Watts-Smith, 205 E. 3rd St., and at the home of his father, William V. Smith, 523 McCluney Drive.
