James G. Sapoch III

BLACKSBURG – James "Jamie" Glenn Sapoch III, 48, of 976 Old Chester Road, died Sunday, April 10, 2011, at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, N.C.

He was the son of Jim and Juanita Sapoch of Bessemer City, N.C., and the late Rebecca Ogburn Sapoch. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and was associated with PPG Industries.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Sapoch of Ellenboro, N.C.; three sons, Nathan Sapoch of Shelby, N.C., Caleb Sapoch of Mooresboro, N.C., and Alex Sapoch of Grover N.C.; a sister, Kim Sapoch Wilkins and husband, Stephen, of Easley; a special aunt, Mary Frances Owens of Blacksburg; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Mary Sapoch and Eugene and Gertrude Ogburn.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, April 12, at 11 a.m. at White Columns with the Rev. Terry Lowe officiating. The family will receive friends following the service and at other times they will be at their respective homes.
