Senior Center news ffi The Gaffney Senior Center, 499 W. Rutledge Ave., will be the IRS site for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA). Anyone whose total gross income is $50,000 or less and has a "simple" return can take advantage of this program. Taxes are prepared every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. by appointment only. ffi North East Fellowship Church of God, 500 Whelchel Road, is having a yard sale Saturday, Feb. 4, beginning at 7 a.m. and continuing until. The sale will be indoors if rain. ffi Buford Street United Methodist Church will sponsor a soup lunch each Monday in February from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. The menu includes soup (choice of three), cornbread,

Auditions ffi Gaffney Little Theatre is holding an open casting call for the classic fairytale "Cinderella." Roles are available for grades 5 and up along with roles for adults. Auditions will take place Monday, Feb. 6, at 6 p.m. at the Little Theatre, 131 E. Robinson St. No prepared monologues are needed, just a great speaking voice and big smiles. Show dates are March 29-31 and rehearsal will begin Feb 9.
