CLOVER – Ricky Shane Clinton, 22, of Clover, died on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill.

Mr. Clinton was born on Feb. 11, 1989, in Rock Hill to Charles Wayne Clinton and Tammy Ford Parra. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Judy Ann Ford and James Pride Jamison, and paternal grandfather, Tommy Lee Clinton.

Surviving are his mother, Tammy Ford Parra and husband, Roland, of Blacksburg; father, Charles Wayne Clinton and wife, Alison, of Clover; four brothers, Preston Clinton (April), Jay Dover (Kristin), Drew Dover (Tabitha), all of Clover, and David Clinton (Maggie) of Blacksburg; a niece, Carley Beth Clinton; a nephew, Easton Clinton; and grandparents, Ed and Ruth Christenbury, Sybil Adams and Donna Parker, all of Clover, and Ernie Parra of Salt Springs, Fla.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, at Midway Baptist Church, 12984 Hwy. 55 West, Clover, conducted by the Rev. Mike Wood and the Rev. Mark Flemming. Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery.

The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St, Clover.
