Juanita Gordon

Juanita Parker Gordon, 82, of 109 Stacy Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at her residence.

Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of James (Bill) W. Gordon and the daughter of the late Cleveland Mason Parker and Mary Etta Parris Parker. Mrs. Gordon was retired from Fiber Industries in Shelby, N.C, and Wal-Mart of Gaffney and was a member of West End Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Vickie Gordon Holloman of Gaffney; a grandson, James Harrison (Jimmy) Holloman; and three great-grandchildren, BrandonW. Thoms, Gabriela Holloman and Madison Holloman.

Mrs. Gordon was preceded in death by six brothers, Pittman Parker, Ervin Parker, Romey Parker, Willard Parker, Rufus Parker and Hughey Parker; three sisters, Lula Carroll, Viola Hodge and Johnnie Phillips Mathis; a granddaughter, Tammy Holloman Thoms; and a son-inlaw, John E. Holloman.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Blakely Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at West End Baptist Church with Dr. Wayne Brown, Mr. Ashby Blakely and the Rev. Rodney Cook officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at the residence.
