Margaret Koller, 75, retired school teacher

Margaret Ann Burns Koller, 75, of 144 Nob Hill, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Richard (Dick) Carl Koller for 48 years and daughter of the late Robert L. and Fannie Parker Burns. Mrs. Koller was a Limestone College graduate, post graduate of USC, Converse College and Furman University and retired from the Cherokee County School System after teaching for more than 30 years.

Mrs. Koller was a member of Buford Street United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Beth Boheler and husband, Tim, of Gaffney and Lynne Good and husband, Michael, of Lincolnton, N.C.; four grandchildren, Anthony Boheler, Lindsey Good, Natalie Good and Courtney Good; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor B. Smith.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Dec. 4, from 12:45-1:45 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. A graveside service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. at Frederick Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Sidney Norton and the Rev. Linda McNatt officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Buford Street United Methodist Church, “Building Fund,” 120 E. Buford St., Gaffney, SC 29340; or to American Macular Degeneration Foundation, P.O. Box 515, Northampton, MA 01061- 0515.

The family will be at the residence.
