Garden Club creates arrangements at April meeting

The Gaffney Garden Club had fun at their meeting in April. Each member brought some kind of a flower, shrub or other growing plant from their yard. Then they broke up into teams and made wreaths or flower arrangements.

Dave and Nancy Rilling hosted the event at the Clemson Extension Office on Floyd Baker Boulevard and served the members mini-manwiches along with a delicious slaw Nancy made, plus an outstanding strawberry pie for dessert.

The May meeting will be a plant exchange. For more information on the garden club, contact club secretary, Lynda Ramage at 206-0286.

Some of the members of the club are shown standing in front of arrangements that were made.
