Sheriff’s office seeks suspect in carjacking investigation

The Cherokee County Sheriff ’s Office is searching for a man allegedly involved in a carjacking Friday, Nov. 10, on Chesnee Highway.

Deputies responded to the Highway 11 Mart at 322 Chesnee Highway.

Sheriff Steve Mueller said the vehicle has a SC license plate of NCY126 and has been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) crime database.
