On July 4, Nita Phillips and Ruth (Ru Ru) Kendrick spent the day with Harold Bailey and Marjorie Bailey Byrum, both former residents of Gaffney, with Marjorie's family in Goose Creek. They met at the home of Al Mazurek III, Marjorie's grandson, for their special 4th of July dinner. Harold, "Ru Ru" and Marjorie are brother and sisters. Brother Leroy Bailey and sister, Irene B.
