Maternal grandparents are Alice Adams, Johnny Adams and Larry Dawkins of Connecticut. Paternal grandparents are Mary McCluney of Gaffney and the late Jesse Sr. Smith of Washington, D.C. Maternal great-grandparents are the late Minnie Pearl Lindsay and the late Allison Victor Lindsay. Godparents are Lisa King, Lyndal King, Jackie Studyvance and Wimp Studyvance, all of Gaffney.
