Al and Hyacinth Phillips are pictured here with The Gaffney Ledger in front of the White House. The photo was taken while on a trip with Shady Grove Baptist Church in July. The group also visited Arlington National Cemetery, saw The Color Purple Broadway Show at The Kennedy Center starring Fantasia Barrino, and took a group picture with Congressman James Clyburn while at the Capitol.
