LAKE CHEROKEE SWEEP NETS 600 POUNDS OF TRASH



Members of the Upstate South Carolina Geocachers Association (USCGA) participated in the National Beach Sweep/River Sweep. The local event was held at Lake Cherokee, where approximately 600 pounds of trash was removed from in and around the lake. Participated picked up trash on land and by kayak on the lake. Event organizers were Laura Turner and Lisa Jenkins.
