Kayak outing turns tragic
A Rock Hill woman drowned in the Broad River near Blacksburg on Friday evening shortly before a planned kayak trip. Cherokee County Coroner Dennis Fowler identified the victim as Teresa Ann Laney, 49, of 1505 Norris Drive.
