Gaffney, SC — Betty Jean Duvall Moss Millen, 92, formerly of 203 Lipscomb Street, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Magnolia Manor-Spartanburg.
Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of the late Earl Millen and daughter of the late Henry Cofield Duvall and Bonnie Gentry Duvall. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School, formerly worked in textiles and for Timken, and retired from Progressive Lighting and from the Cherokee County School District. She loved her family and was a member of New Harvest Church of God.
Surviving is a son, Ronald “Bo” Moss (Kathy) of Pacolet; a daughter, Debra Moss of Travelers Rest; two step-sons, Tony Millen (Donna) and James Millen (Tammy), both of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Karla Lamb (Shannon) and Christy Rosselli; eight great-grandchildren, Brycen, Mallory, Hannah, Cassidy, Daisy, Gabrielle, Skylar and Sierra; one great-great grandchild, Hayes; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Leslie Arnold, four brothers, Dick Duvall, Grady Duvall, Wesley Duvall and Billy Wayne Duvall, and a sister, Hazel Patty.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 AM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Robert Wells and Reverend Alan Peeler officiating. Interment will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
The family will be at their respective homes.
