Spartanburg, SC — Betty Eubanks Wilson, of 300 Springwood Drive, entered the presence of Jesus on Thursday, May 5, 2022 with her children by her side.
Born in Campobello, she was the widow of the late Theodore (Ted) Lanford Wilson and daughter of the late Naomi Eubanks. She was a retired lab technician and florist, and a member of Summit Church (formerly Bethany Baptist Church). She faithfully served in various Church ministries and also taught the Lydian Sunday School Class. Betty volunteered for the Carolina Pregnancy Center for over 25 years and also served children through Good News Club, and refugees through World Relief.
Surviving is a son, Mark Lanford Wilson of Pacolet; a daughter, Mary Beth Bright (Jonathan) of Spartanburg; two brothers, Bill Eubanks (Loretta) of Columbia and Donnie Eubanks of Spartanburg; four grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Wilson, Elise Bright, Abby Bright and Cameron Bright; a great-granddaughter, Autumn Elizabeth Grace Hogg; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deb Grande and a brother, Herb Eubanks.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Summit Church. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM at the Church with Reverend Jonathan Bright and Reverend Kyle Cayton officiating. Interment will be in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens.
