Bonnie Crowe


Gaffney, S.C. – Bonnie Lou Deaton Crowe, 69, of 132 Ballenger Road, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at her residence.

Born in Gaffney, she was the companion of Amos Reynolds of the home, and the daughter of the late James Elbert Deaton and Ethel Neal Deaton. She was a homemaker, loved flowers and gardening, and loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Blue Branch Baptist Church.

Also surviving are a son, Rodney Wayne Crowe of Gaffney; a daughter, Kelly Crowe (Joseph White) of Gaffney; two brothers, Dennis Deaton and wife, Cathy and Wesley Crowe and wife, Kim, both of Gaffney; three sisters, Phyllis Rogers, Della Rector and husband, Eddie and Nikki Griffin and husband, Ray, all of Gaffney; five grandchildren, Joshua Harris, Justin Harris and wife, Courtney, Kayla Harris Phillips and husband, Joshua, Alyssa Crowe and Brittany Crowe; ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Calvin Crowe, two brothers, Pete Deaton and Sammy Ray Deaton and a sister, Sally Morris.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 PM on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Pacolet Road Baptist Church. Memorial services will immediately follow at 6:00 PM at the Church with Rev. Jimmy Powell and Rev. Steve Osment officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: American Cancer Society, Cherokee Co. Unit, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.

The family will be at the residence, 132 Ballenger Road, Gaffney.
