Charlene Diane Foster was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Charlene passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at the age of 55, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy of love, laughter, enjoying life, and family.
She was born to Lillie Littlejohn and her father the late Perry Lindsay on April 4, 1968. Charlene is survived by her husband Charles Foster and her children Chartisha Littlejohn, Cedric Rogers, and Douglas Rogers. She also leaves the legacy of beautiful grandchildren; Daquan, Cedariah, N’kari, Nilynn, Zola, Memphis, Adonis, CJ, Chance, Navy, and Sailor. Charlene also leaves her mom, Lillie Littlejohn and her sisters Michelle Robinson, Tena Lindsay, and Melissa Jeffcoat; her brothers Perry Lindsay Jr. and Kerry Rice, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins who were dear to her heart.
Charlene’s Homegoing service is scheduled for 2pm on May 3, 2023, at Limestone Missionary Baptist Church, which is located on 807 South Johnson St. Gaffney, SC. Interment will be in the Frederick Memorial Gardens. Her funeral arrangements are by Genesis Funeral Cremation Services and Chapel located on 1705 Old Georgia Hwy Gaffney, SC.
