COWPENS — Wymon Estelle Greene Willis, 80, formerly of 4946 Cannons Campground Road, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Peachtree Centre.

Born in Gaffney, she was the loving wife of Leon (Chuck) Willis for 63 years and daughter of the late Odus Max Greene and Myrtle Lou Parris Greene. She retired from Arrow Auto, was a volunteer for Mobile Meals for 10 years and an award winning cook. Mrs. Willis was saved at the age of 13 and a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Cowpens for 71 years, where she was very active, taught Sunday School, was the founder and director of the youth choir and help prepare Wednesday night meals for the church. She also was active in Senior Adults and was always willing to share Christ.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Tony Willis and wife, Beth of Grover, N.C., and Jeff Willis and wife, Missy of Chesnee; a daughter, Janice Carpenter of Boiling Springs; a sister, Elsie Peeler of Cowpens; eight grandchildren, Lee Willis and wife, Tricia, Justin Willis and wife, Corrie, Jordan Willis and wife, Kristine, Collin Willis and wife, Leah, Holden Willis, Savannah Willis, Austin Willis and Chelsey Florez; and six great-grandchildren, Jerrod, Jacob, Brittany, Carter, Liam and Lydia.

The family received friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, November, 26, 2018, at Mountain View Baptist Church in Cowpens with Reverend Steve Griffith and Mr. Lee Willis officiating. Interment will be in the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.
