Institute of Innovation students and staff bought a total of 500 ice cream cones and 640 pizza slices in a fundraiser Friday to raise money for a local family’s medical expenses in a fight against cancer. Pet Dairy branch manager Shawn Broome and Best Pizza in Town owner Lee Whiteside donated the food for the fundraiser.
