Gaffney, S.C. — Ruby Janice Easler Bailey, 77, of 1617 Overbrook Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 5, 2017.

Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of the late Joseph Dwain Bailey and daughter of the late Jack Easler and Beatrice Pierce Easler. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School, retired from Hoechst Celanese after 30 years of service, and was a member of Midway Baptist Church. She loved her Lord, her family and her Church.

Surviving are a son, Joey Bailey of Gaffney; a daughter, Amelia Davis of Gaffney; a brother, Thomas Easler and wife, Lois of Blacksburg; two sisters, Jackie Black of Blacksburg and Jean Laughlin and husband, Lawrence of Gaffney; four grandchildren, Adam Bailey, Melissa White, Dustin White and wife, Tiffany and Cheri White; ten great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Midway Baptist Church with Rev. Vernon Craig and Rev. Harold Bradley officiating. Entombment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at the home of Amelia Davis, 1611 Overbrook Drive, Gaffney.
