Perry to be introduced as new Limestone men’s basketball coachFree Access

The Saints have turned to a Bobby Cremins protege and longtime USC Upstate coach to lead their men’s basketball team.
Former University of South Carolina Upstate head coach and longtime assistant Kyle Perry has been tabbed to oversee Limestone College’s program.
Perry, who spent nine seasons with the Spartans including a one-year stint at the helm in 2017-2018, will be introduced as Limestone’s head coach during a press conference on Thursday, May 9, at 11 a.m. in Limestone’s Legacy Lounge located inside the Timken Physical Education Center. The press conference will include comments from Perry, Limestone’s Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Mike Cerino, and President Dr. Darrell Parker.
During the 2018-2019 campaign, Perry served as an assistant coach at the University of North Carolina Asheville.
Perry played for the legendary Cremins at Georgia Tech, and later worked with him during Cremins’ stint with the College of Charleston.
While Perry was at  USC Upstate, the Spartans recorded their first-ever wins over ACC and SEC opponents in South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, and Mississippi State.

More details will be announced following Thursday’s press conference.
