Q. Why are the flags that were put out for Memorial Day by CHAPS and the fire department still being displayed?

A. According to CHAPS, the next “flag day” of the American Flag Project is literally on the holiday known as FLAG DAY. That is only two weeks after Memorial Day. CHAPS and the Gaffney Fire Department decided to leave the flags out from Memorial Day through Flag Day. “It just makes more sense than repeating distribution and pick up in such a short time window…and we will have such a great visual impact lasting two weeks!”
