The Wall That Heals began its departure Tuesday afternoon to the Spartanburg Downtown Memorial Airport from Palmetto Patriots Veterans Home in Gaffney. It is a mobile replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and will be on display at the airport Nov. 9-13. More than 300 motocycle riders, many of them Vietnam veterans, escorted the ‘Wall.’
