Gaffney, SC — Virginia Ann Stepp Harris, 84, formerly of 108 Ashmore Avenue, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 15, 2022 at Peachtree Centre.

Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Reverend Jimmie W. Harris and daughter of the late Jesse James Stepp and Pauline Hunsinger Stepp. She graduated from Gaffney High School, retired from Supreme Manufacturing, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Surviving is a son, Jimmie Harris (Anita) of Crisfield, Maryland; a daughter, Tina Prevatte of Gaffney; two sisters, Barbara McCraw of Georgetown and Joyce Garrison of Gaffney; nine grandchildren, Jessica Ferrebee (Tyler), Kelly H. Gilstrap (Neal), Sarah Harris, Travis Harris (Jenny), Storm Harris (Brittany), Lance Harris, Kolby Harris, Christian Prevatte and Courtney Prevatte; ten great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Stepp, and three sisters, Patricia Price, Sally Huskey and Shirley Kanipe.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, April 18, 2022 at Blakely Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tim Knotts and Reverend Tommy Knotts officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Calvary Baptist Church, 2929 Cherokee Avenue, Gaffney, SC 29340.

The family will be at the residence, 108 Ashmore Avenue, Gaffney, SC 29340.
