Green Bethel Baptist Church held baptisms on Sunday, Sept. 11 during the morning worship service. Baptized were Journee Parks, Patience Colon and Constance Bobo-Miller. They are pictured with the pastor, Dr. Rayfield Hamrick and First Lady Regina Hamrick.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED

Sacred Heart Catholic Church awarded a $2,000 scholarship to Andy Mata. Andy is pictured with Fr. Bruce Barnett. Andy used the scholarship to attend Carolina Construction School in Lancaster and is now employed by Morgan Corp. Andy is the son of Mauro Mata and Mandy Gates.
