CAVA Deck the Walls Exhibit

CAVA (Cherokee Alliance of Visual Artists) will open its 10th annual “Deck the Walls” holiday exhibit Sunday, November 10, from 2 – 4 p.m.  with a reception in the Gaffney Visitors Center and Art Gallery.  The public is invited to this drop-in reception for an early look at CAVA’s holiday exhibit.

Members have been encouraged to bring in new work priced for holiday shopping. Expect to find paintings, ceramics, other three-dimensional items, jewelry, and prints.   Items will be available in the main gallery and in the sales gallery, all at reasonable prices.  President Noah Lindemann said that this is the perfect time to start holiday shopping for new pieces for your home or for that one-of-a-kind item for someone special or for someone who seems to have everything. Unframed items will be available for easy perusal.  Smaller items will be for sale in CAVA’s Sales Gallery.

An additional reception is planned for Thursday, December 5 from 6 – 8 p.m. The holiday exhibit will continue through January 6. The CAVA Gallery is located in the Gaffney Visitors Center and Art Gallery at 210 West Frederick Street. The Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.  For additional information call 489-9119.
