The death of a Gaffney man is being investigated after he was found deceased in his vehicle Monday morning.
Cherokee County Coroner Dennis Fowler identified the deceased as Robert Stephen Fowler, 47, of Brittany Road.
“Fowler was discovered unresponsive in the driver’s seat of his locked vehicle at the 105 Car Wash located at 768 Hyatt Street about 11 a.m. The white Mecedes-Benz E550 was parked inside one of the self-service bays with its engine not running. At this time there are no indications of foul play. An autopsy has been scheduled to assist with the investigation,” Coroner Fowler said.
