No tax increase in school district’s proposed budget

No tax increase is planned in the new Cherokee County School District budget, school trustees learned during a workshop Monday. Trustees hope to name new superintendent by late August

The Cherokee County School Board could announce a new superintendent in mid-September under a timeline presented at Monday’s meeting.
