Gaffney, SC — Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Moore, 61, of 210 Hidden Acres Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at her residence.
Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Gregory Scott Moore and daughter of Earl Peeler of Pacolet and Frances Scruggs Herschberger of Gaffney and stepdaughter of Calvin Herschberger. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School and Spartanburg Technical College, was employed by Freightliner Custom Chassis for 28 years, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, traveling to the beach and going to concerts.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are two daughters, Megan Moore (Travis Bright) of Gaffney and Hannah Blume (Tyler) of Travelers Rest; a brother, Mike Peeler (Cheryl) of Gaffney; four beloved grandchildren who affectionately called her “Grammy”, Wesley Bright, Brody Bright, Reagan Blume and Maxwell Blume; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 11:00AM on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00AM at the Church with Reverend Mark Smith officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
