Gaffney, SC — Born in Spartanburg, SC Les lived a full and hardworking life devoted to family, friends, and his passions.
A proud Army veteran and dedicated local business owner, Les first owed a neighborhood convenience store before later building and operating his own hauling business. Known for his strong work ethic, warm heart, and easygoing personality, he took pride in everything he did and valued the friendships he made along the way. A lifelong enthusiast of antique cars and racing, Les loved spending weekends at the track, enjoying the roar of engines and the company of friends who shared his passion.
Les is survived by his mother, Maxine O. Wall; his son, Lester Wall Jr., and granddaughter, Jerica Wall; his siblings, Connie (Mike) Burkhardt, David Wall, and Linda Wall; aunts; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, John C. Wall, and sister-in-law, Pamela Wall.
The family will receive friends to celebrate Les’ life on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Blakely Funeral Home, Gaffney,
