Blacksburg, SC — Letitia Wiggins Moore, 76, died on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at her home.

Born in Lake City, SC, she was the youngest of four children of the late CF and Elsie Wiggins. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Charles Wiggins; and a sister, Ann Wiggins. Mrs. Moore was a graduate of Mt. Pisgah High School, Lander University and The University of South Carolina. She was retired from Spartanburg District 6 schools, where she was a librarian. She was faithful to her family, her friends and most of all to her Lord and Savior. As a pastor’s wife she joked that she had served in most areas of the church. She was an educator, musician, wife, mother, but the title that she held most proudly was Nana. Mrs. Moore was a member of Broad River Baptist Church.

She leaves behind her husband of 55 years, The Reverend Thomas Moore; a daughter, Aubrey Moore Pearson (Curtis) of Shelby, NC; a son, Ethan Thomas Moore of Belmont, NC; and two granddaughters, Emme Rose and Ellie Jae; a brother, Johnny (Geri) Wiggins of Kershaw; and a beloved sister-in-law, Paula Williams (Bill); and other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until 3:00PM on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Broad River Baptist Church. A memorial service will immediately follow at 3:00PM at the church with Reverend Danny Meetze and Reverend Norman Philbeck officiating.
