Margaret Neil Browning Coyle, age 79, of Maiden passed away May 20, 2025 at Carolina Caring in Newton. She was born March 21, 1946 in Cherokee County, South Carolina the daughter of the late Neil Browning and Edith Warren Browning. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School and Lander University and taught history in Junior High. Following her teaching career, she worked with Winn-Dixie as an Administrative Assistant for over 25 years. Margaret lived in LaPlace, Louisiana for 32 years. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in LaPlace She was a member of Mt. Anderson Baptist Church in Maiden.

Her husband of 58 years, John Coyle of the home
Daughter: Marcia Spivey and husband, Eric of Vestavia Hills, Al.
Son: Jonathan Coyle of the home
Five grandchildren and one great grandchild
A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Anderson Baptist Church with Rev. Donald Cline, Rev. Eric Spivey and Rev. Charles Ingle officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. prior to the service at the church.
