Gaffney, SC — Mary Ann Parker Bratton, 76, of 304 Gregory Road, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 22, 2025 at her home.
Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of the late Howard Lee Bratton and the daughter of the late Rhett Parker and the late Louise Hughey Parker. She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening, working puzzles, bird watching and caring for her family. Mrs. Bratton was retired from Gaffney Embroidery and a member of McKown’s Mountain Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Richard Bratton, Frankie Bratton and David Bratton (Nicole), all of Gaffney; two sisters, Nita Waters and Judy Estes (Mike), both of Gaffney; a brother, Roy Lee Parker of Gaffney; three grandchildren, Taylor Bratton, Lauren Clary (Leighton) and Austin Bratton (Kayla); two step grandchildren, Isaiah Gibson and Shelby Gibson; a step-great-granddaughter, Raelynn Phillips; and a great-granddaughter on the way, A.P.C. Mrs. Bratton was preceded in death by a brother, James Parker; a grandson, Andy Bratton; and a granddaughter, Angela Ann Bratton.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, September 26, 2025 in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Mickey Mullinax and Dr. Ron Culbertson officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
