Among fall-themed banners and orange-leaved trees, City of Gaffney workers kicked off the Christmas season the day before Halloween by wrapping garland around downtown light poles topped with light-up snowflakes. Christmas is just eight weeks away. The city’s Christmas parade will be held Friday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. Applications are available at the visitors center.
